JOB Miss

I talked with my good friends last night, who were my high-school classmates and are now working after graduation. Two of them expressed their intension to change their jobs. The main reason: Bored. They are complaining the simplicity and repetitiveness of their work and feel that their future would be endangered if they stay in the position.
One, a technician for power plant building, has been abroad in India for 1/2 year. He organizes the workers, supervises the processes, and provides professional suggestions. But, he is frustrated by the 'easyness' of the technical problems. He was really excited when he got the chance to go to India. But it finally proves really dull. The place is not so modern. And the workers he has to deal with are not well-schooled though very co-operative.
The other, also a technician, thinks it will ruin his future if he only deals with machine. He wants to be a manager, dealing with people. In my opinion, he would make a good manager because he carries a manner of mildness and courage and has the enterprising spirit. But the fact is he doesn't have the time to horn his managerial skills. In that position, he is placed among machines.
The ideal counters with the real.
They tell me I have to find out my true interest and persist in that direction, or I will walk a much longer way to get what I really want. I will examine my strength and adversaries and build on my strong areas.
They will find another job in one year. Hope they find a dream one.
Any way, I will find mine.

News Channel

The New York Times is my favorate news provider. I like their style, tense and complete, original and formal, demonstrating their professional feature.
When reading their reports, you see the whole picture and the author's opinion as well. Really helpful for your own judgement of the scenes out there. Their story really connects with the readers.
The fame of New York Times is based on solid results and action. In history, they went through difficult times with persistence, hardwork and vision, and finaly won the due recognition.
This morning, I spent three hours reading their news stories. Science, politics, book reviews, bloggs. I really love their in-depth reports and their practical opinions.
What's wrong with most news channels? The lack of underlying seriousness and professionalism, at least partly.

Field Switch

I will go to win in a much bigger arena now as the big day approaches.

I will use the next year to its full and find my dream job.

I will explore my potential and know myself better.

I will be "my real self."
